Events

The Siloam Springs Writers Guild meets once a month for regular meetings. On occasion, guild members or friends of the guild might have a local book signing. We try to list these in our monthly gazettes to help support and encourage one another. We will try to mention these things on facebook as well.

The guild hosts an annual writers conference each year. It is typically a one day event with several speakers and activities. See the conference page for more information on scheduling, speakers, registration, and fees. It really is a fun and informative event.

The guild hosts a BIG poetry contest for local writers, within 10 miles of Siloam Springs, during the month of August. This contest is funded by the Roy Chesney Roundation. More details can be found on the Contest Page. Cash prizes are awarded in October for the winners. There is also a youth contest as a part of this event and it is divided into different age groups for youth between the ages of 6 and 17.
